FYI, customer service can provide pricing. There is break pricing, so if a customer is making a large commitment for a certain volume of these fasteners, make sure you offer the pricing level that applies. With recurring fastener orders, be sure to advise that we will accept blanket commitments that extend out over multiple releases. This will allow them arrive at an appropriate price level for the annual commitment they want to make. For instance, a fleet owner may have 10,000 vehicles, but may only needs 2,000 nuts per month. If they are going to buy 2,000 nuts per month for several years straight they should set up a blanket PO, and we can ship against that P.O. at the break volume for the total of the order. Blanket commitments don't normally extend out more then a year, but it is not impossible to go longer, so please bring each situation to our attention.
FYI, The standard driver for these parts for the 3/4" Battery & Pneumatic tools is Part Number
DZAK-HGTN-M22. This will be added to a cut sheet in the near future. CS can provide pricing.
Does the Grip-Tight Nut have the same Knurling as the Hytorc Washer? If so, are Alloy Wheels compatible with the Nut?
So, can you clarify why a buyer in a transportation office would buy these over against the standard nuts purchased? A point or two would be really helpful. Also, with it saying "grip tight" does it leave mark on the wheel?
Yes, the knurling under the integral washer will leave witness marks, which will be hidden under the washer. The reason a buyer in the trans office will buy them is because you will sell them to the end user, supervisor and safety personnel as a safety feature due to eliminating a 3’ to 4’ manual “click” wrench with its built in hazards, a time saving device as the driver socket will self seat when put on the nut and again it’s a powered tool being used, and a quality improvement in wheel installation using calibrated, repeatable torque output of the powered, automated “set it and forget it” tool. So with a small battery powered impact to run nuts and a BTM/LST to do final torque a 99 lb person with a rotator cuff injury and carpel tunnel syndrome can safely, quickly and accurately do wheel bolting all day long.
